The Importance Of SEO

I’ve recently taken on the role of webmastering http://www.braingymplayhouse.com. In less than 3 weeks, here are the results in terms of search engine ranking :

- No. 15 (page 2) for “brain gym singapore” (Google)

- No. 2 and 3 for (page 1) “brain gym singapore” (Google “pages from Singapore”)

- No. 4 for “brain gym 101 singapore” (Google)

- No. 2 for “brain gym playhouse” (Google)

- No. 3 for “brain gym playgroup” (Google)

- No listing in MSN and Yahoo yet though. I could have submitted it manually but I would rather wait for the spiders.

Most websites may have difficulty in just getting indexed in the first place, whereas http://www.braingymplayhouse.com search engine results are very encouraging indeed, considering the domain is registered only 3 weeks ago.

Personally, I feel that it’s very important to integrate SEO while developing any website. It’s a simple effort to do at the beginning stage of web development and yet it’s a waste that many web designers or webmasters do not include this.
